Let’s talk about how to prepare for a family photo session! As you know planning is everything when you want a good result. So, I have a few tips to share with you.
After culling the photos and adjusting the color in Lightroom, I re-touch all my photos in Photoshop.
You would think newborns have perfect skin, but that’s only partially true! By the time I see a newborn (in the first 2 weeks of life) they could still have some bruising from birth. The newborn acne might have set in. They could also have scratches on their face from tiny newborn fingernails that haven’t been trimmed yet.
Lessons for a Photographer:
DO NOT GIVE UP was one of the first lessons I learned as a photographer. You might see someone’s images and believe they just walked up to the family, and BOOM…great photos.
Let’s just call it what it is. Professional on top, casual on bottom. Most of us are working from home and thank goodness there are some perks.
Namely, Zoom only captures from the waist up. Which means your legs can be as comfy as possible.
