Today the preschool had a "Play Day." The teachers did such a great job putting together games and tons of fun activities for the preschoolers and their siblings.
Our first stop was a cooking making station.
Next we did face painting. Jillian ran into her little friend, Mia, whose face was painted like a tiger. She decided she needed to be a tiger too. 🙂
Here’s a picture of Jake with his face painted…
It was a fun afternoon. I’m going later to the beach for a photo session, so I’ll be posting those pictures soon!

We started out the day at the chapel, taking pictures of the wedding party getting all gussied up. The guys room had these really cool checkers on the ceiling.
I love this shot of the bouquet being handed to Robbin while she was getting ready.
This was their first site…it was so sweet…they were just so excited to see each other, sun was streaming through the windows. It was beautiful!
The mansion grounds had all these gorgeous little alcoves, so we grabbed Robbin and Jason for a few minutes to take pictures.
I love grungy backgrounds as much as I love lush garden backgrounds. So…when we spotted this storage container behind the gardens, we took the girls back for some pictures. One lady even stopped us to tell us there were much better places to take pictures! I guess she didn’t have our vision. 🙂
This last pictures is especially meaningful because Robbin’s father has passed away. She is very close with her twin brothers (at the end) who walked her down the aisle. I love the way they are looking at her in this picture.
I loved being able to do this wedding with Shannon of Madison Ave Photography. We sat at BJ’s after the wedding looking at each other pictures and enjoying how we each got such different points of view. Shannon-thanks for letting me shoot with you! Robbin and Jason-thanks so much for letting me be part of your day! I hope you are having a fabulous honeymoon in Hawaii!

Robbin and Jason’s wedding was amazing…beautiful people in a beautiful location. Plus I got to shoot the wedding with the insanely talented Shannon . What a fun experience!
I’m off to scout some parks for a photo session this weekend, so I’ll just show my favorite photo of Robbin getting ready. More to come soon!

Last weekend I got the chance to photograph a wedding with my amazing friend and mentor, Shannon. Before the big day we were able to do a practice bridal session with our gorgeous friend Rachel. She was the perfect model and took directions from two bossy photographers. 🙂
I’ll share more on the wedding later, but for now…here are some shots of Rachel.
Thanks to both of you!!

Last week I had a session with a beautiful senior…Sofia. When I say beautiful, I mean inside and out. She’s the real deal! Sofia was up for anything so we went to several locations and had a few outfit changes. I’m trying to decide which is my favorite…
The grungy alley:
The gorgeous sunset at the end of our session:
Something a little sophisticated:
Sofia is such a sweet girl…I know she’s going to go far!!

So, Tuesday was Jillian’s first day of ballet. She was in heaven with all things pink, and the music, her friend Taylor…what more could she ask!? The parents were asked to wait outside in the hallway, so I quickly snapped through the doorway. 🙂
The moves…
And Jillian’s cute little buddy Taylor:
The teacher said on the last day the parents come in the class to watch the girls…so I’ll have much better pictures then! 🙂

Last week I was able to visit Monica at her absolutely gorgeous home and photograph her before baby number 2 comes in October. Keegan, the big brother, is almost 2 and on the move! He ran around while I took pictures and every once in awhile came over to check out the action.
Here’s a few pictures of the 2 of them…
And a few more of the beautiful Monica…
Barefoot and pregnant…
I can’t wait to meet the new little guy!

I’m officially a soccer mom. This weekend was our first game…and it was quite an experience!
That’s my guy getting ready to score a goal…
His pinny was a little too big…I mean down to his ankles big…so Brent tied it up for him so he wouldn’t trip.
And my tired guy after the big game with all his snacks…
He was so tired in fact that Brent had to carry him and his sister to the car!
