This is just part of a shoot I did last fall at Dog Beach in Huntington Beach.  The extended family all brought their dogs!  We had grandparents, adult children and 3 adorable pups.  I love it when people bring the WHOLE family!

If you bring your dog, don’t forget the treats (yes, dogs need bribing just like kids) and a leash.  You might not want your dog in all the photos and it helps to be able to contain your pet while we continue taking photos.

For so many people their dog is their first child.  So, being able to include them in family photos is so special.  And that’s one of the reasons I like shooting at Dog Beach.  The location is dog-friendly and it has plenty of wide-open space!
