I found this park on Google Maps, just searching for wooded areas in Orange County! It’s such a magical spot, especially at sunset.
Sunset is the perfect time to do a session in the Laguna Coast Wilderness Park. The sun filters so pretty through the dry brush.
And we don’t have many rolling hills by the coast, so this place is extra special! During this session we explored the hills around Nix Nature Center and took so many photos!
I love this father-daughter session from Peck Park in San Pedro. I met this client when I did her newborn session. And the last few times I’ve held mini-sessions, she booked one for her mom and then this one with her dad.
We timed the light perfectly for this session at Corona Del Mar. The family was moving out of state, so it was the perfect parting gift!
I typically start out a session with posed photos. Kids (and parents!) are still warming up to me, so this is a great time for more static images. Even though I say posed, I’m still interacting with the family. I’m just getting everyone standing still, looking at the camera.
