Even if you’re not a professional photographer, you should be going through your iphone photos so you don’t end up being overwhelmed with so many similar photos. And no one wants unflattering photos or photos with your eyes closed!

HOW TO CULL YOUR IMAGES LIKE A PRO

1. No distractions! Your only job is to choose images to keep. So, turn off your phone and no online shopping!

2. Set a timer. This is deep work, so you don’t want to be culling for an hour. I suggest 20 minutes and then take a break.

3. Go with your gut reaction. This is a quick YES/NO project. Don’t overthink it.

4. Do a 2nd cull the next day. I like to have fresh eyes, so I go over them one more time to see if there are any that are duplicates, etc.
