Now that my railroad tracks photo shoot has been realized, I’m on to the next idea!  I am looking for a baby girl that is sitting age.  Must be adorable…must be willing to travel to my studio in Long Beach.

My dad is his dad’s nephew.  What does that make us?

I think it’s second cousins.  Or maybe it’s a cousin, once removed.  Regardless, I’m glad that his wife Laura looked me up after almost 10 years of not seeing Josh!

We spent the afternoon at Seal Beach, galvanting around.  And just when Josh thought we were done, we weren’t.  We were off to the next location.  Thanks for being a good sport. 🙂

Off to the meadow…

Thanks to the 405 traffic, we got a late start and had the last rays of sunshine to end our photo session.  Amazing.

These last two might be my favorite maternity shots ever.  I love the whimsical nature and the perfect mellow lighting.  Thank you Laura for balancing yourself up in that tree for so long!

The best part of today, was a spaghetti feast after our marathon photo session and plans to do it again when the baby comes!

Earlier this week I got to tag along with Brent to speak at a conference in San Luis Obispo.  He did such a great job and in our down time, we got to hang out with good friends and explore the city.

If you look close you can see we are standing in front of a pair of walls COVERED in used gum.  It looks kinda cool from the distance, but as you get closer…

and even closer still…

It gets a little gross.  Anyway, we didn’t get too close and we didn’t “add” anything to the wall.  We did however walk into the cutest shop down the street- Contessa S. Home.  And I found out she has a new store open in LA, score!

In other news, I went with Paula and Laura today to take the kids to the Easter bunny.  They were nice enough to let me take my own picture.  And it makes me smile that my kids are still excited about a visit to see a bunny.

Hudson didn’t have the same sentiments.  But, he hung in there for a few seconds so I could snap a picture of him.

We were the last people to see the Easter Bunny before his lunch break, so Jillian informed the rest of the people behind us that he was going to eat carrots for lunch….as his “handler” walked him down to the food court. 🙂

Are there any other children of the 80’s out there that wore a bubble skirt or a bubble dress?  I know I’m not the only one!  In fact I have a memory of winning the 6th grade spelling bee in my pink satin bubble dress.  Maybe it’s these fond memories that make the return of the bubble so much fun.

Rascals to Rebels has so many variations of the bubble that I’m SO in love with.  When these two little girls showed up in matching bubbles I was over the moon!

I’ve never seen a more fashionable two month old!  Rascals to Rebels also sells these elastic headbands with assorted flowers and bling.  What a cute way to show off a fabulous head of newborn hair. 🙂

…at Rascals to Rebels in Rossmoor!  I have so much fun doing mini-sessions because I get to meet so many great people.  I mentioned before how the children at Huntington Beach (which I still need to finish sharing with you!) were beyond adorable and Rossmoor was right up there with the cutest of the cute!

I brought bubbles this time and love how this image caught a few floating by.

And this little guy’s hair…I love love love his hair. 🙂

After looking through all my pictures I truly feel like the luckiest girl right now.  I love my job and life is good when you enjoy what you do!

I have the cutest new niece…Jena.

We took this picture of her in the cape that Nana (aka. knitting extraordinaire) made.  Doesn’t she look like the cutest little eskimo baby?

She has the best smile too…

Jena has the best big sister and brother.  I think any mom would be so excited to have all three of their kids together smiling and looking at the camera. 🙂

I’ve been a little quiet lately.  Here’s why:

After a huge family get-together in Northridge all 15 or so family members came down with what we thought was a stomach bug.  Several family members were hospitalized and it was narrowed down to the pistachios we ate…ewww.

I’m back to running speed and wanted to post a few more pictures from Rascals to Rebels.  Here are the cutest two year old twins:

And this is their little buddy who has incredible blue eyes and the best hair ever!

I’ve been horribly neglecting my blog…but all for good reason! My three younger siblings were in town, along with my whole extended family, so this weekend has been filled with endless family get togethers.  I’ll take it when I can get it.  And work will fill in all the cracks of time. 🙂

I’ll make up for it by posting two more photo sessions from my Huntington Beach mini-sessions.

I love direct eye contact from infants.  It’s so cool when they hear they name and look directly at me…just as I click the shutter.  In this next picture, she looks a little *concerned*, but don’t worry she has a great big brother!

…jiggety jig!  After spending today figuring out what time zone I’m in, I’m ready to get down to work!  I started by boxing up all the gorgeous prints that were waiting on my door step.

These are all going to the lovely folks that came out to the Rascals to Rebels event in Huntington beach.  I did a little mix up on my normal pink and green packaging.  It is Easter after all!  I love the way they turned out.  I have Laura to thank for the raw-edge satin bows…love that idea!

The stickers are new too.  Aren’t they perfect for Spring!?
