So many people comment about the eyes in my portraits. And usually they want to know what I “do” to get them to look that way. To be honest, it’s all in the lighting. Perfect, soft, indirect light makes children’s eyes POP! Kids’ eyes are so perfectly clear…it’s just highlighting what’s already there.
Lucy’s the perfect example of this. Take a look…
And she happened to look down for a second…just as the wind picked up her hair. Beautiful.
And I love this fairytale-esque picture…
Have a great Wednesday!

So beautiful! I love the last picture…
Wow, what an adorable young lady. She seems like a real sweetheart! I miss those days of being able to put pink tu-tu’s on Emily!
I still follow your blog religiously and what a treat to log in today and see Lucy. Beautiful, sweet Lucy. I just love this little girl, and her mother, of course. I’m sure you had fun taking photos with them — isn’t Lisa’s energy contagious? As usual, the pictures are just perfect. I can’t wait to talk to Lisa and hear her reaction, I’m sure she loves them!
