I have to take a break in sharing all my Easter sessions from last weekend to post some very special pictures of a very special delivery.
Meet Drew Weston…

I got to meet Drew and his family this afternoon because of a last minute phone call from a close friend.  All the schedules lined up and I was able to photograph Drew…which really made my day.  Everyone met up at my house, so it was lots of fun being in on the excitement of the day.
We started out taking ‘sleepy’ picture of Drew on his fuzzy blanket.

I was reminded that when photographing newborns, they run the show!  If they don’t want to cross their legs, they don’t…if they don’t want to close their eyes, they don’t.  🙂  So all my plans go out the window and I get to photograph Drew as he is in his first week of life…alert.

And that’s what makes it so special…all Drew’s pictures are unique…his big brown eyes and wild hair.  Can you tell he melted my heart?

So, thank you to Joy and Jake for letting me be part of this special day.
