This year’s holiday mini sessions are spread across some of my favorite Orange County spots, plus a few new ones I’m excited to add to the lineup. Each session is $125 to book, with an additional $500 due when your photos are ready. Newport Beach Area
Newport Beach gives us some of the most versatile backdrops of the season. Corona del Mar and Little Corona del Mar offer rocky bluffs and tide pools that photograph beautifully in the softer holiday light. Newport Pier and Newport Civic Center bring a different feel, one classic beach town and one clean architectural backdrop. Upper Newport Bay rounds things out with open water views and walking trails for families who want a more natural, less crowded setting.
Huntington Beach Area
Huntington Beach shows up a few different ways this season. The Huntington Beach Pier is a classic choice for families who want that iconic SoCal beach shot. The Urban Forest inside Huntington Beach Central Park offers a completely different look, with tall trees and dappled light for a softer, more woodsy session. Dog Beach is a favorite for families who want their pup included in the photos.
Seal Beach and Long Beach Border
Gum Grove Park in Seal Beach or El Dorado Park in Long Beach are quieter, tree-lined spots that works well for families who want something a little more tucked away.
Beyond the Coast
A few sessions this year move inland to some beautiful hidden spots. Santiago Oaks Regional Park in Orange and Oak Canyon Nature Center in Anaheim Hills both offer hiking trails and natural scenery away from the beach crowds. Hillcrest Park in Fullerton and Jeffrey Open Space Trails in Irvine bring even more variety for families who prefer a park setting. Carbon Canyon Regional Park in Brea has become one of my favorite finds, with a small grove of redwood trees that feels like a completely different part of California. Crystal Cove rounds things out with sweeping coastal views.
