I’m blessed with a pretty fantastic family. Christmas just gives us an extra excuse to plan fun events, spend a little extra time cuddling on the couch and showering each other with lots of love and a gift or two!
We spent Christmas Eve in sunny southern California going to the Irvine Spectrum to do a few rides and treat the kids to ice cream. My heart was just a tiny bit heavy thinking about all the snow I won’t be seeing…but only for a minute. 🙂
We went to church together in the evening…here’s the storytime for the kids.
Okay…buckle in there’s lots more documentation of Christmas day!
After the kids were fast asleep, I set out all the presents and gave everything a good sprinkle of fake snow. (In honor of all the snow my parents are enjoying in Montana right now!) I even made a little trail from the door and created a few footprints.
We can always count on Cooper for a good reaction to gifts!
To finish the day, we sat around the fire pit with our desserts.
…and watch the kids swim!
What a perfect ending to the day!

The headband looks amazing! and I love love love the rounded corners.
Happy Holidays! Love the new look!
Kristin, I know that I’ve said this before…but your kids are so stinkin’ adorable!!! I love Matilda Jane on Ms Jillian! If I had girls…:) The fake snow was a wonderful touch, too! So creative!
Thanks for sharing…awesome photos.
I think I might have to “borrow” the fake snow idea for next. We live along the OBX NC and hardly ever see snow…..Everything looked so fun!
That was so awesome to see the pics of your Christmas! I like how you wrapped the presents and did the fake snow… then ended the day with the kids swimming! Also I really like your new logo! It looks so perfect for your business. And the rounded corners are a good touch.
What a delightful recap of your Christmas Day! Thanks for sharing! And I love that final pic of you and Brent!
Such beautiful family and photos Kristin!
