When you’re taking photos at a rustic location, dark neutrals are such a good choice.
The background of a rustic location is usually filled with lots of foliage and texture. Lighter colors would wash out complexions.
I put together a mock up with dark neutrals (medium brown and shades of olive). My accent color would be the dusty blue in a lighter and darker shade. It all really works together!
The following family photos (taken at Casper’s Regional Park in San Juan Capistrano) have a very similar look, but the accent color is burgundy.
