A sweet friend of mine is having a baby girl, so I told her I’d take pictures of Jillian’s room to help her in decided the color scheme of the baby’s nursery. And since I had taken them…I thought it would be great to share with everyone else!
After having two boys I wanted to go completely girly for Jillian’s room…I’m not a decorating queen or anything, but I do love color!
The furniture is actually Brent’s from when he was in high school! I just had him paint it all white…
We painted the walls green and accented with lots of white a bit of pink. The sweet little pink sweater and bonnet was made by Brent’s mom and Jillian wore it when she was a baby!
I found this at the Salvation Army for $75 and mixed up some left over paint to create this pale pink. Then I distressed it to make Jillian’s mini vintage armoire for her dress up clothes and toys. The chair is from Pottery Barn Kids and I also found that at the thrift store for $5! Do you recognize the pink bucket??
I made all these pillows and the window seat cushion from vintage fabrics and chenille. Both the blankets were made by Grandmas!
Thanks for letting me share Jillian’s room!
