For family sessions, once we’ve decided on the date and location, you’ll want to think about outfits.

Choosing outfits doesn’t have to be daunting! Instead of having everyone wear the same color, go for more of a coordinated look.

The easiest way to do that is to choose one or two main colors. Mix in neutrals (white, cream, gray, tan or denim) for an overall cohesive look.

I also love a mix of patterns and textures.

No matter what type of session you’ve booked, it’s going to be light-hearted and fun. Photography was meant to capture authentic moments and those happen when you feel most natural.

If the session is just parents and a baby, we might talk about your favorite restaurants or the town you grew up in.

If the session involves toddlers, you can almost count on silly songs and peek-a-boo. My goal is to make your kids feel like it was a play date, not a photo session.

Once the session starts, your work is done. Just relax, and have fun! I’ll guide the session with prompts to make sure we get everything from everyone looking and smiling to the magical little moments that will happen naturally.

A week after the session, you’ll get an email with a download code. This is how you’ll receive all the high-resolution re-touched digital images. I’ll give you printing tips and resources, so you’ll be enjoying your photos immediately!
