Beach on the Brain [Children's Beach Photographer]

With the cold-ish summer we’ve had, I’m making my first trip to the beach with the kids today!  Speaking of beach…I spent plenty of time in the bay doing photo sessions.  Even when it was a bit chilly, my clients always put on a brave face in the summer clothes and made it look warm. [...]

Get ready…It’s a big post! [Orange County Child Photographer]

I had another fabulous weekend at Rascals to Rebels!  The kids were so cute and each one had their own fun personality!  My background photographed so well, too.  I couldn’t be happier!

Whew!  That was a big post!  And that’s only half the sessions.  I’ll share the next weekend at Rascals to Rebels in a few [...]

South of France [Long Beach Family Photographer]

This summer has been a blur!  I can hardly believe that we are less than 2 weeks away from the first day of school.  Brent pulled up the class lists for the kids last night and ever since they’ve been talking non-stop about their teachers, who’s in their class and all the fun things they’ll [...]

By the Bay + Cooper’s Sneak Peek [Orange County Beach Photos]

I just need one extra day to catch up!  That’s what I keep telling Brent.  After a week of Montana with my family, a huge birthday party for Cooper and a few photo sessions in between, I need time to stop for about 24 hours so I can get back to normal.
Since that’s not possible, [...]

Back to School at Rascals to Rebels [Orange County Child Photographer]

I’ve never liked school pictures.  I didn’t like them when I was elementary school and I still don’t like them now that my kids are in elementary school!  That crinkly blue background with the cheesy pose isn’t worth spending money on!!  SO, I’ve come up with the perfect solution.  I buy the class picture as [...]

Six [Irvine Children's Photographer]

With a promise of frozen yogurt and 30 minutes until sundown, I sped down the 405 to check out a new location.  My schedule is jam packed this week, so I didn’t have time to spare, but I needed to make sure this place was as cool as I remembered it when I drove by [...]

Another year older [Long Beach Family Photographer]

I love the familiarity of photographing families every year.  It makes me feel like part of their family.  I love how the kids grow, the families grow…and I get to help them document every step.
The Wong family grew by another member since last year.  This little guy is now a big brother.

Here’s the newest addition…and [...]

All about Perspective [Orange County Child Photographer]

I’m a huge fan of children looking up and into the camera.  Normally I like to get on their level and make the viewer delve into their world.  But, every once in awhile, eyes up directs the light flawlessly into their face.  It captures every freckle, eyelash and twinkle.  Forever.

On this shot, angle is everything.  [...]

Mini-Professionals [Baby Model Headshots Los Angeles]

I’ve had a lot of fun lately working with baby models from Zuri Model and Talent.  Head shots with these ‘professionals’ are amazing.  We do three outfit changes in 30 minutes and there are always tons of pictures to choose from!
This little guy was fresh off a Huggies diaper commercial and they cut off his [...]

Ladybug Smiles [Children's Photography in Long Beach]

Try with all your might little ones, but you will smile before the session is up!

The twins were quite serious, but their big sister had them laughing with her before too long!

The girls were enamored with ladybugs, which seemed to have made their home in the long grass around the settee.

It’s the simple things…
